South Tyrol’s most expensive guesthouse.
An old hut on Lago Caldaro converted into 12 “new” rooms. A living space where a generous amount of celebrating wine, ahem, that’s drinking wine, is done. A “trust bar” in the fisherman's hut. Food that is served when it is supposed to be, and wine that is lovingly stored in its very own wine cellar. A rickety boat instead of a shiny yacht. If you can’t live without the sea, well hasta la vista baby. But hey, guess what? Kat & Jan invested in a sauna, all’s well that ends well.
South Tyrol. Lago Caldaro. A bunch of loud and posh hotels, normally. But if you go on the other side of the lake, where tourists rarely venture, you’ll find South Tyrol’s most expensive guesthouse – twelve rooms in Campi al Lago.
We developed a cool hotel concept with Kat & Jan which does away with half-board menus or etiquette – quality comes first, and quality has a price.
