The architect wanted to tear it all down – we argued all it needed was some TLC and a new coat of paint.
Nancy took over the Camping Corones from her dad, Walter, Except it’s a camping site no longer.
Papa Walter & Family ran a successful camping site with residences in Rasun Anterselva. But then, the leasing contract of the camping site ran out. What remained? The residence from the 2000s, the Canadian timber huts, alpine chalets, and Nancy, Walter’s daughter, who was in it for something new.
The architect’s proposal was to rebuild the residence from scratch. Why on earth would they do that? That’s way too expensive – we decided to paint it green because "green is the new black" and revamp the interior. The “original” (not really) Ancient Roman SPA remained. The pool, bike room and four new cozy homes were added.
